Fluorescent pigment maker Brilliant Group has opened a new manufacturing plant in Richmond, Calif.
Richmond-based Brilliant now has combined manufacturing, R&D, quality control and technical support at the 20,000 square-foot location, CEO Darren Bianchi said in a recent news release. The move “will dramatically improve our ability to serve our customers in a wide range of areas from logistics and flow of goods to new product development,” he added.
“With our enhanced capabilities, we look forward to bringing new and innovative products to market,” Bianchi said.
The location is Brilliant’s first manufacturing site. It’s been using contract manufacturing since opening in 2007. The firm makes dry color, powdered pigments, dispersions and concentrates — all in fluorescents — for a range of markets including plastics, coatings and textiles. Products made with Brilliant’s fluorescent products include toys, packaging and crafts. | |
